Cardinal Activewear Nylon Coaches Windbreaker Jacket Unlined

Love this , I looked long and hard for this Coaches windbreaker . It is exactly as I remember them to be , Perfect for our weather here . It is well made and will be in my wardrobe for years to come .

I'm 5'7", 140 lbs. I wear a 38s suit, my shoulders are about 18.5" wide. I got the small windbreaker. The first time I started to put it on, it felt like it might be a bit too small, but with raglan sleeves, there wasn't any issue with the shoulders. The sleeves are a bit long, but with the elastic wrist, they're ok. The length came past my waist, as I'd wanted. The bottom of the jacket comes to about the tops of the back pockets on my jeans. The jacket is just a shell, no lining, so it's perfect for those times when it's starting to get cool, and anything with a lining is too hot. I bought the navy blue, now I'm going to get another in a different color. Shipping costs are a bit high, so that would be my one complaint, as it arrived in a lightweight 'cardboard' mailer envelope, about the same weight as the post office express envelopes. So based on the shipping cost, I'll knock it down to four stars.

This is a good basic windbreaker and it seems fairly well made. I ordered a medium in orange and it fits as expected. I have a different lined coaches jacket that I like but it's always a struggle to get my arms into the sleeves because the cotton lining bunches up. This unlined version doesn't do that and it's lighter weight so it's easier to pack into a small bag or even a pocket. One thing that wasn't obvious from the photos is that the material is translucent and the color of your shirt will partially show through the jacket everywhere except for the front snap area and the pockets where there are two layers of fabric. It would be nice if there were two layers of nylon everywhere so the color was uniform throughout, but it doesn't effect the functionality which is great.

Excellent. I finally found you, company that makes a windbreaker shell without a liner. I searched for many years 1970's until now. I bought two for my self. I will buy more. Good gifts too.
